COUNTING DOWN
Soon you'll be in London, getting settled in and beginning your classes. When you get here, you'll want to take advantage of the last few weeks of summer and seasonal activities in your host city. Among many recommended things to do while the weather is still summery is to see an outdoor film screening (see Victoria Gardens dates below), hear a concert or see outdoor theatre.

A highly recommended outdoor place to visit is the area around London's City Hall. The unique architecture of City Hall alone is worth the visit, but next to it is an amphitheatre known as The Scoop.

Here there are free, outdoor events worth taking in while the weather is still accommodating. Check out the calendar, and plan to visit early in your stay:

Take a walk along the river's edge and enjoy the view of the bridge, the water, the people, and the many historical sites along the southern side of the Thames.

HAVE YOU ARRANGED TO VOTE?
It's a presidential election year, but we'll be in England on the big day. Make arrangements to have a ballot mailed to you so you can vote while overseas. Information on overseas voting procedures can be obtained through sites like the ones below:
